Pooh Shiesty’s legal problems are getting worse. The Memphis native, who was previously charged with aggravated violence following a shooting at a Miami nightclub, was indicted again for a separate incident in the same city. According to the Miami Herald, Shiesty was charged on Tuesday in connection with an armed robbery. He and two companions, Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, were planning to buy marijuana and high-end footwear in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida, in October 2020. Shiesty and Brown allegedly shot two males in the buttocks and hips when things went wrong.
Because of a photo he put on Instagram during the investigation, federal officials were able to link the rapper to the crime. Investigators uncovered a Louis Vuitton bag with $40,912 in cash that had fallen out of Shiesty’s Lamborghini McLaren. After the agents matched the serial number on the bills to the same wad of cash that Shiesty flaunted in the photo, they were able to prove it was the rapper’s.
Furthermore, investigators discovered Darosa wielding the same Draco used in the heist after searching his Instagram account. Shiesty was eventually charged with discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy, and robbery in violation of a commerce law.
The new indictment comes after a judge denied his bond for the Miami club shooting despite the alleged victim’s decision to recant their prior statement.
