AJ, a 38-year-old music producer, joined the current season of “Ready to Love” because, like many other singles, he recognized his dating habits weren’t getting him any closer to his dream of marriage and family. According to the creative Scorpio, he has had a complete life with many various job choices and triumphs, and the only things missing were marriage and a family. When asked about his worst dating experience, it was pure accident that the female on the other end of his story ended up in the cast.
“I almost wondered if somebody was messing with me. I tell them about this experience and then I see her there. I had to pull the producer to the side and tell them that was the girl I was talking about,” AJ said concerning his controversial past with Kyra.
After a bad date years ago, AJ and Kyra found themselves on a dating program with 18 other singles looking for the perfect match. AJ wasn’t the only cast member smitten with Kyra, whether it was because of their historical relationship or their current physical chemistry. Almost all of the men picked Kyra as their top connection on the program at one point.
“I wasn’t really surprised when most of the guys picked Kyra,” AJ said. “She is an excellent listener, and she follows up. You meet someone like her at a time when most men feel like they aren’t heard, and it’s a refreshing change. I always thought that skill set was a part of her job. She is an attorney, so she earns a living by listening and paying attention to the small details.”
Kyra decided she didn’t feel comfortable committing to a relationship with AJ in the “Ready to Love” conclusion, which startled fans. With a giggle, he remarked, “Watching it back, it was evident things weren’t going to go my way.” “You’ll have to wait and see how things play out at the reunion, but my goal was to marry and have children with my wife, and that goal remains the same.”
Female fans were ecstatic to watch AJ serenade Kyra with a song he made specifically for her. AJ claims he made something unique for all the women who admired his effort on the keys, even if Kyra wasn’t as touched by the song as the viewers were. “I put together an EP called As For Me and My House: Music For Your Temple, which is available on Apple Music and features vocalist Richelle Gemini. I’m often getting requests for music that I’ve produced, so I’m really looking forward to this endeavor. Because it’s only for ladies, I hope they appreciate it.”
