According to sources, a mother of six was found battered to death and bound in her Los Angeles home on July 4th.
According to the New York Post, Fatima Johnson, 53, was discovered by her children on Sunday evening at her apartment in the Manchester Square neighborhood after they had not heard from her for many days.
“We hadn’t heard from my mother for over the last 48 hours,” Johnson’s daughter, Tyesa Harvey said. When they arrived at her home, Johnson was tied up, and her body was wrapped in a blanket.
“What happened to my mother is something that no child should ever see of their parent,” Harvey added. “I’m hurt, I’m angry and I’m questioning God right now.”
Johnson was pronounced dead on the spot by paramedics. According to FOX11, she was battered to death, but authorities have yet to reveal a motive or name any possible suspects.
Relatives suspect the killer was Johnson’s boyfriend, who was just released from jail after serving time for murder, according to relatives.
