The penultimate episode of Loki was a hit with everyone. We met various “variants” of Tom Hiddleston’s anti-hero deity in this one. Boastful Loki, President Loki, Kid Loki, and even a Classic Loki, performed by none other than Richard E. Grant, were among the characters. Loki the Alligator was also present. There was also a frog version of Loki’s adopted brother Thor, known as “Throg.” And it’s true that the one thing he spoke seemed like it came from a familiar voice.
According to Entertainment Weekly, series director Kate Herron disclosed that the frog version of Thor was definitely voiced by Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, during a recent visit on the podcast For All Nerds. Throg, on the other hand, didn’t say much. We only heard him say “Ahhh,” and that was the end of it. However, keen-eared watchers may have noticed that it originated from none other than Michael Mann’s Blackhat star.
It’s one of a slew of Easter Eggs hidden throughout the fifth episode, which kept Marvel fans on their toes attempting to uncover and understand them. The Thanos coptor was present. Loki and Mobius (or “Lokius,” as they’ve been nicknamed) were reunited. There were also numerous horn headpieces. And there’s one more episode remaining, which will premiere on Disney+ on the 14th.
