As previously reported, NFL free agent Richard Sherman was arrested and charged with burglary domestic violence after an altercation at a family member’s home. He was jailed without bond, and video of the alleged incident was published. After a person inside the house phoned 911 about 2 a.m., a guy suspected of being Sherman attempted to forcibly enter his father-in-home. law’s A section of the footage shows the man forcibly shoving the door open with his body. Sherman had been detained at the King County Correctional Facility, but on Thursday, a judge authorized his release without bond.
According to the Associated Press, King County District Court Judge Fa’amomoi Masaniai found probable cause that Richard had committed “criminal trespassing, malicious mischief, driving while intoxicated, and resisting arrest.” The judge dismissed the allegations against Richard and ordered him to stop communicating with his father-in-law. He was also prohibited from using alcohol or nonprescription medicines, according to the judge. After the hearing, Richard’s wife, Ashley Sherman, issued a statement saying, “I love and support my husband.” I am devoted to assisting Richard in receiving the assistance and care that he requires.
Richard has always been a devoted husband and parent. We’re looking forward to seeing him with his family at home.” Richard also issued a statement in which he promised to get mental health treatment.
