According to NBC Miami, US Marshalls reportedly detained 19-year-old Jacksonville rapper Nehemiah Harden, better known as TikTok phenomenon SpotemGottem, in his hotel room in Aventura, Florida. Harden was supposed to play at Rolling Loud’s comeback show in Miami next week, but he’s now facing a slew of charges, including aggravated assault. Today, he received a bail of $18,500.

Marshalls had a warrant for Spotemgottem from a June incident in which the rapper and several friends allegedly broke the gate at a Miami parking garage and allegedly threatened someone who tried to stop them with a semi-automatic weapon — the story doesn’t specify whether this was a passerby or the garage attendant. Marshalls say Spotem had an AK-47 handgun next to him on the bed, adding to his previous accusations of aggravated assault with a firearm and accessory after the fact to a criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The rapper is best known for his viral hit “Beat Box,” which has subsequently been remixed by DaBaby, Deante’ Hitchcock, Latto, Polo G, Lil Yachty, and NLE Choppa, among others. The song is about SpotemGottem’s gun, which when fired may “create a beat box.” When developer Junebug created the #JunebugChallenge dance, it quickly became a TikTok favorite, and it was featured in a number of videos on the popular app.
