Soulja Boy just announced Hanks as the newest member to his SODMG Records label, indicating that his hard work has paid off.
In a collaborative video shared to Instagram, Soulja and Hanks announced the news. Hanks is the first rapper signed to SODMG this year, according to Soulja, and they have huge intentions. In the announcement, Soulja Boy declared, “It’s going down.” “We are on the verge of making history.”
Of course, Hanks isn’t the only one who has had a viral moment this year. Soulja, his new business partner, has recently made news as well. Last week, the rapper went viral after a video was published on Instagram accusing him of buying fake jewelry at a mall. The user was invited to join Soulja on Instagram Live because he was upset over the charges. Soulja insisted the jewelry was real throughout the talk, which gradually grew heated. “That f*cka $35,000,” says the narrator. The Rollie is worth $30,000.
