Young Thug celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this month with a star-studded bash that included 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin, and Travis Scott. The majority of them presented him with a valuable piece of jewelry. However, his manager, 300 Entertainment A&R Geoff Ogunlesi, and realtor Trey Williams gave him the most fascinating gift: 100 acres of land in his hometown of Atlanta. We’ve discovered about Thug’s intentions for the land, which he’s dubbed “Slime City,” weeks after he showed it out on social media.
Thug wants to create high-quality residences, a waterpark, a camping site, and much more in Slime City, according to Williams in an interview with TMZ. He also plans to build a dirt bike route for residents in the neighborhood, as well as hosting his annual Slime Fest there. Williams said he’s already met with architects and engineers, and that construction will begin as soon as they acquire a few permits they’re awaiting.
Meanwhile, fans should keep a watch out for updates on Thug’s upcoming album, Punk. So far, he’s published the album’s first single, “Tick Tock,” and teased an October 15 release date.
