Every month, it appears that there is a discussion regarding music. There’s always some sort of music argument going on online, whether it’s over the newest album, the best TikTok dance, or the best underappreciated musician. However, when it comes to the biggest argument of all time, the debate is still going on. Lizzo published her greatest of all-time list over the weekend, and 21 Savage did the same recently.
After being questioned by hosts Gillie Da Kid & Wallo on the most recent episode of the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’ podcast, he revealed his top-five R&B artists of all time. Anyone who is a fan of the rapper knows he enjoys R&B, but I don’t think the podcast’s listeners were expecting him to mention a few names. 21 responded to the questions, but first added a caveat, adding, “I can’t really say in no particular order, but I’ll give you five.“
In no particular order, the ‘Bank Account’ rapper named Mary J. Blige, Usher, Aaliyah, and Keith Sweat. Wallo, on the other hand, was taken aback by the last performer he mentioned. “I’m not going to lie to you, Avant. 21 said, “I f**k with Avant.” “Damn, I don’t think he was going to day Avant,” Wallo answered.
Avant is a great R&B singer that had a solid career in the mid-2000s. Most people are familiar with his hit records,’ My first love,’ featuring Keke Wyatt, ‘Separated,’ and ‘Read your mind.’ They also agreed that Avant is underrated and deserves his flowers! One commented, “I like his list a lot. Avant is so slept on.” If you did know, Avant recently dropped new music. His song ‘Nothing Without You (remix)’ is out now.
