Teyana Taylor is nearing the end of her career in the music industry. The musician announced the dates of her final tour, “The Last Rose Petal,” on Wednesday, Sept. 22, with a touching note in the caption.
Taylor exclaims, “How lucky am I to have something that makes saying away so difficult?”
“However, God brings the next hello closer with each goodbye. Come out and see me, I’ll let it all hang out on the stage… Once more… “I say goodbye as my last rose petal falls, just for you,” she concluded.
The 12-city tour will kick out in San Francisco on November 5 and conclude in Atlanta on November 30. She will also make stops in New York, Houston, Los Angeles, and Chicago, among other major cities. It’s possible that this will be the last time her ardent fans witness her sing hits like “Bare Wit Me,” “Rose in Harlem,” and “Gonna Love Me.”
The news comes almost a year after the New York native announced her retirement from the music profession in December 2020.
“Retiring this chapter of my narrative with the consolation that I can retire with peace of mind realizing that all the hard work and passion put in was indeed appreciated and supported somewhere in the world,” she wrote on Instagram after she made the choice.
Despite the fact that Taylor appears to be leaving music in the dust, the mother of two has plenty of opportunities.
She recently launched a reality show titled, “We Got Love” on E! which follows her, her husband Iman Shumpert, and their two precious little girls. She was also named the creative director of Pretty Little Thing late last year, proving that she is still a force to be reckoned with.
