Coldplay’s weekend has been rather hectic. The band has just released a new single called “My Universe,” which features BTS and will be featured on their future album, Music Of The Spheres. They also performed at the Global Citizen Festival, where they sang hits such as “My Universe” and “Fix You,” from their 2005 album X&Y. Coldplay invited Billie Eilish and Finneas to join them on stage for the latter performance.
This follows the release of a documentary by Coldplay that gave fans an inside peek at how their BTS partnership came to be. The 12-minute film depicts the musicians’ first in-person meeting, with BTS praising Coldplay as the “lord of stadium tours,” a “role model,” and a “huge inspiration.”
Billie and Finneas were both recently named to Time magazine’s list of the world’s 100 most influential individuals. Megan Thee Stallion described the singer as a “unique spirit who talks from her heart with no pretenses” and a “lady who stands up for herself and advocates for women everywhere” in an article for the issue. Finneas, on the other hand, has only recently released his latest hit, “The 90s.”
