Miley Cyrus, everyone’s favorite Hannah Montana star, is once again being Miley Cyrus. The TV star/pop star/rock star has gone through a lot in recent years, attempting to figure out who she is and whether or not that includes hip-hop. Fortunately, Miley’s most recent album, Plastic Hearts, appears to have solidified a new identity and direction for the ever-changing performer, and she is currently in a good place as an artist. It it’s only natural that she’d re-open her once-iconic fan site MileyWorld to the public, and that she’d do so with a special present for admirers.
The live and uncensored video of her performance at Austin City Limits last weekend is now available for anyone who couldn’t make it. The catch is that it’s only available on Miley’s fan site, which she launched in 2007, so fans must go to mileyworld.com to view. Simply enter your email address to receive special content, such as the live performance. Meanwhile, Cyrus has a new management team and a new record label (she signed with Columbia Records in March), and she’s preparing to release new music. Is this going to be another rock album? That’s what I’m betting on.
