BOSTON, Mass. (AP) – John Legend was among the crowd members who applauded a street musician’s performance of John Legend’s hit “All of Me” in Boston over the weekend. According to The Boston Globe, the Grammy Award-winning musician was visiting Faneuil Hall with his family before his gig in Boston on Sunday night when he came across Radha Rao performing the hit song. Legend was blown away. He hugged Rao and handed him a tip. At first, Rao, 22, didn’t recognize him. He was hiding behind a mask, and she had no idea he was in town. Then he removed it.”
What are the chances that John Legend will be in town, performing in the same region as you are? “It’s unbelieveable,” she exclaimed. She acknowledged to being scared, but she finished the song, which has been a staple of her two-hour show at Faneuil Hall since August. “A lot of people wonder, ‘Did you play it because he was there?'” says the author. “And the answer is no,” Rao stated emphatically. “I was playing it, and then he appeared just as I started the song, which was quite a shock.”
