Jay-Z has a long record of achievements dating back to the beginning of his career. That qualifies him to offer guidance to people who aspire to be as successful as he is. During a recent interview, he did exactly that. Jazlyn a.k.a. Jazzy, an 11-year-old Brooklyn reporter who has previously interviewed superstars such as Nas, Derek Jeter, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and others, asked Hov for some advice for young people who want to be successful like him.
“Believe in yourself before you believe in anyone else,” Jay said. “You have to have the same level of self-assurance as you do.” You have a lot of self-assurance. And just believe in yourself,” Jazzy wrote on Instagram, promising that the second portion of their encounter would appear on Friday, November 5.
The interview follows Jay-return Z’s to Instagram after a six-year hiatus to promote The Harder They Fall, a film he co-executive produced. Soon after, he became the only person on Instagram that his wife, Beyonce, followed. Jay followed Beyonce back and made her the only person he follows on the app.
