Vin Diesel wrote an open letter to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on Sunday, encouraging him to return to the “Fast & Furious” franchise. The world is waiting for the conclusion of Fast & Furious 10. In my house, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne, as you are aware. There isn’t a holiday that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come to say goodbye. Legacy is on the horizon.
Years ago, I promised you that I would keep my word to Pablo. I swore we’d attain and manifest the finest Fast in the finale, which is number ten! I say this out of love… but you must show up; you have a vital part to play in the franchise. No one else is capable of playing Hobbs. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the feud between Vin and Dwayne dates back to 2016, when they had a quarrel on the set of “The Fate of the Furious,” popularly known as F8.
After the incident, Dwayne called Vin out on social media. His character Luke Hobbs would later have his own spinoff film, “Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw,” which was released in 2019.Vin spoke about their falling out in an interview with Men’s Health back in June, and said it stemmed from a moment of tough love as he tackled his role as a producer during their last film together. “I wish them well on Fast 9,” Dwayne stated to THR in response to Vin’s interview. And I wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they do that will be without me.” At the moment, Dwayne has not responded to Vin’s social media post.
