Joe Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, has a new episode that is three hours and two minutes long. For any podcast, that is simply too long. With a few minutes to spare, you may view The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (non-extended edition). The episode before it is two hours and 14 minutes long, but the following episodes are three hours and 29 minutes long, three hours and one minute long, three hours and one minute long, three hours and 21 minutes long, and so on. Every week, he releases three to four episodes! I’m not sure where the average Rogan fan finds time to listen (probably at the gym while bulking up), but it’s realistic to expect him to release a 12-hour episode at some point. Then mockery will turn into reality.
Tim Heidecker, a comedian, has published an 11-hour and 54-minute spoof of The Joe Rogan Experience. It’s not that lengthy, but you’ll see if you keep an eye on it. In one viral video, Heidecker-as-Rogan (wearing a Space X hat in a nod to Elon Musk’s episodes) talks to his special guests, Jeremy Levick and Rajat Suresh, in front of a Fuddruckers’ sign about how “crab salts” are a “immunity booster that is completely game changing, I think, from the research that’s coming out now.”
“Real satire is hard to come by and this is the genuine article,” John Darnielle from the Mountain Goats tweeted, while comedian Robin Tran added, “Cannot get over the perfect parody of JRE that Tim Heidecker, Jeremy Levick, and Rajat Suresh did. I have no idea how none of them broke character during Rajat’s insane rant about religion.”
The next time you try to suck your own d*ck, you’ll have something to listen to. The full video is available above, as well as clips and reactions below.
