On the Joe Rogan Experience, Post Malone sat down with Joe Rogan and expressed his views on politics, the pandemic, and face masks.

Post Malone said that he highly disfavors the lockdown measures and the government shouldn’t fine people who don’t wear face masks but urged the public to cover their faces.

“It’s weird to me that there is, it’s like me in school, having to f*****g tuck in your shirt, or else you get detention or whatever. It’s weird to be forced to wear something.” He says.

He says he doesn’t agree with the city of Los Angeles and other surrounding cities’ policies about fining people if they don’t wear a mask: “You can get a fine for not wearing a mask and sometimes it’s up to $600.”

The artist also agreed with reopening the country to help boost the economy so citizens can work and pay their bills without worry.

“Everybody has to live their life, Everybody has to be able to survive and pay their bills, and eat.”
