The Met Gala 2024 red carpet kicks of in just a bit, and I haven’t done an opinionated piece in years…so, here we go! There are some people we all love and probably hate seeing on the red carpet every year. Me? I’m a theme girl. I love a good theme and I love it even more when others stay on theme as well. This year it’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and I don’t know about y’all but I can’t wait to see certain people pull this off. Here are some of my favorite artist that I think will get it right tonight.
Rihanna
Did I have to say it? I mean come on she’s literally the reason why people have been starting to bring their A-game to the Met Gala.
Rihanna and ASAP Rocky
I’m not going to hold y’all…ASAP and Rihanna have become my favorite couple to look for. Besides fashion I really love, love and I think these two low key let us know they were married, while paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld last year.
Blake Lively
For me Blake Lively does it every time. Our Gossip Girl star is also a Met Gala fashion girl and I love her for it.
Cardi B
Cardi B has been very exciting to see on the red carpet. I love how designers take a chance on her, because they don’t miss.
Zendaya
My favorite these days are Zendaya and Law. They are so unstoppable because, Law just gets it. The way he plays with masculinity and feminity, and finding innovative yet flattering styles for her. They’re just perfect together.
