Russ rarely takes a break from releasing music, and following a string of songs that began this summer, he’s gearing up to conclude the year on a high note with a fresh new album. Russ will release Chomp 2 on Wednesday, December 8, and he provided the tracklist and features just hours before the release. Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg, Jay Electronica, The Game, Big Sean, Wale, Joey Badass, Styles P, Westside Gunn, Lloyd Banks, Ghostface Killah, Papoose, Big K.R.I.T., Ranson, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, Mozzy, CyHi The Prynce, and others will all contribute to the full-length project.
9th Wonder, Hary Fraud, DJ Premier, Hit-Boy, The Alchemist, Statik Selektah, Boi-1da, and Bink! are among the producers on Chomp 2.
It’s a year since he published his previous album. The first Chomp is much shorter, including Ab-Soul, Black Thought, Busta Rhymes, Kxng Crooked, Benny The Butcher, and DJ Premier, and clocking up at six songs.
Chomp 2 will be the latest in a long line of songs released by Russ in 2021. “On The Way,” “Satisfy,” “Lucky,” “Private,” and “Status” are among them, and he’s collaborated with Lil Baby and Blxst, as well as hinting at a possible joint album with Kehlani.
