In the midst of his divorce from Faith Evans, Stevie J is having some issues. Kimia Klein, the music producer’s lawyer, has just filed a move to dismiss him as a client after the two had had their own troubles.
Klein, a partner at Fox Rothschild LLP, claims that their relationship has ended due to a “irreversible breakdown.”
“There has been an irreversible breakdown in the attorney-client relationship such that a genuine conflict has formed between Fox and Steven,” Klein claimed, according to materials obtained by Radar Online on Dec. 31. Despite my office’s several attempts to resolve the difficulties with Steven discreetly, we have been unsuccessful.”
Klein further states that, despite the fact that she won’t be disclosing what happened between her and Stevie J, the situation was so awful that even Klein’s colleagues declined to work the case. They have “been obligated to communicate that the relationship has broken down sufficiently so that my colleagues and I cannot continue representing Steven,” she wrote.
Since Stevie filed for divorce in November, Evans has been pretty silent, but the R&B singer still has her profile image set as a shot of her and Stevie. Fans, on the other hand, have not been as quiet as Evans. Many people appear to have a lot to say about the musicians’ relationship.
“Even the attorneys divorcing him,” one user joked in response to the late news of Stevie’s lawyer attempting to withdraw him as a client. “So then we have determined that Stevie J is the drama.”
Some people believe Stevie has a money problem, which has put a strain on his relationship with his attorney. Stevie filed for spousal support from Evans a few weeks ago, and days later she filed to reject the request. Fans began to speculate about Stevie’s financial situation as a result of this.
Stevie’s financial situation has not been revealed, and no word has reached her.
