During a quarrel over a meal order at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Utah on Monday, a 4-year-old boy fired a revolver at law officers on orders from his father, authorities said.
According to CBS News, the fight started when the father got the erroneous order and the employees had to call the cops to calm him down. Officers came on the scene and began to arrest him after removing him from the vehicle. “An officer turned back toward the vehicle and noticed a gun pointed out from the rear window,” police said, adding that the child was in the back seat with a 3-year-old. “Information acquired during this continuing investigation suggests that the child’s father encouraged the child to shoot at the police.”
“This needs to stop, and we need to come together as a community to find solutions to the challenges we face in our neighborhoods,” said Salt Lake County Sheriff Rosie Rivera, adding, “This needs to stop and we need to come together as a community to find solutions to the challenges we face in our neighborhoods.”
