Whitney’s Greatest Moment: Singing the National Anthem at Superbowl XXV

In memory of Whitney Houston, who just passed away suddenly today at age 48, we would be remiss if we didn’t post this video clip of her performing the national anthem at Superbowl XXV. 


Her performance on this day would further cement her legacy as being one of the best, if not the best vocalist of her generation. 

This was also during the time period of the Persian Gulf War and in may ways by her performing on the world’s biggest stage, she in many ways help rallied the country to become even more united.  That’s how powerful her voice was and is.

There will never be another Whitney Houston.  Ever.
