After tweeting that she had reached her goal weight of 98 lbs, the 4’9″ Jersey shore actress was often criticized for being to skinny just a few short months ago. Rumor now has it the Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is indeed pregnant.
In early February, the 24-year-old Jersey Shore star had denied allegations that she and her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, were expecting a new bundle of joy in interviews with both Star magazine and Good Morning America. In the Good Morning America interview Snooki is quoted as saying, “I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant.”
The pint-sized, Italian American actress is reported to be about three months pregnant and sporting uncharacteristic, loose-fitting clothing. Snooki and MTV both refuse to comment, and Snooki has been tight-lipped about the pregnancy on her Twitter page. Sources say that Snooki made a deal to announce her pregnancy on the cover of U.S. Weekly, but no report on when that is scheduled to happen.
It is reported that the reality TV star and MTV are closed-lipped about the pregnancy because it will change the creative direction of the Jersey Shore spin-off the show Snooki is starring in with J-WOWW, Jenni Farley. While Snooki was busy denying rumors, it is also reported that 495 Productions, the production company for the new show, contacted Bambi Baby last month because the actress wanted to film some of the upcoming scenes in the store. The owner originally declined the offer but has since agreed, and the production company behind Jersey Shore is set to start shooting scenes there soon.
