Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina and the man that her mother informally adopted over 10 years ago are officially in a relationship.
She and Nick Gordon, 22 (who Bobbi used to lovingly refer to as a “brudder”), confirmed today on Twitter that they are dating.
Rumors began to swirl after the two were reportedly spotted kissing outside of a Target in Georgia last week, but the couple made it clear today.
After being asked by followers to clarify, Gordon tweeted:
“Yea we got a little closer and what!!!… All the haters that dont know us or th real story can’t un follow me. I don’t give a f**k …I’ve proved my loyalty to her and the Houston family. I don’t owe any of you anything. Ha I don’t even know y’all haters….Some ppl have no lives so they gotta be in ours.”
Although the two of them dating, I’m sure is pretty sick to the Houston family, he made sure to remind people that he and are in fact not blood-related.
“For the stupid ppl out there she gave birth to 1 child. And she trusted me with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!…She called me her me ” God Son” I swear some ppl in this world act like they don’t have a brain…”
Bobbi remained silent on her account, only retweeting Gordon’s words and fans who supported them.
TMZ reports that Whitney invited Nick to live with her and Bobbi Kristina more than 10 years ago when Whitney learned Nick’s mother could no longer care for him.
Hopefully for Bobbi and Nick’s sake, this relationship works out because once you’ve crossed that line it’s often hard for things being the way they were.
