We all know by now how the Trayvon Martin story ended…unfortunately. And so much has happened since then with George Zimmerman, as he still walk the streets a free man.
He gets in fights with his girlfriend. He apparently also threatens her life. He’s also an artist now, who’s paintings go for $100,000 a pop. Zimmerman is obviously enjoying his freedom while cashing in on his infamy tremendously.
Now he’s agreed to do a celebrity boxing match and he says that he’ll fight anyone…even Black people. As long as the price is right.
Celebrity boxing promoter Damon Feldman made Zimmerman the offer, offering him money to step into the ring. The opponent has not been selected yet.
Much has been made of the fact that Zimmerman is apparently “open” to fighting a black person, though Feldman told TMZ “We’re not looking at it as a race thing …We haven’t discussed purple, yellow, white, black.”
There doesn’t need to be emphasis on the race of Zimmerman’s potential opponent, as people of varying ethnicities will be eager to step into the ring with him.
There’s already line of people ready to fight George Zimmerman, so finding an opponent shouldn’t be a problem. The rapper The Game has already went on record to say that he wants to be that man given that chance.
“I will beat the f**k out of him,” Game said about the possibility of trading blows with Zimmerman. “I would not be boxing for me. I’d be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family.”
The veteran rapper and reality show star goes on to say he would take pleasure in fighting Zimmerman and wants to show him disputes can be settled without using a firearm.
As for George’s cut from the fight, he’s supposedly donating the money to charity.
The match will take place on March 1st. If you’re interested in participating, contact fightgeorge@hotmail.com.
