Chris Brown’s Lawyers on Wednesday claimed that the prosecutors had misused the Grand Jury process to prepare for trial when they were filing a motion to dismiss assault case.
The Grammy winning singer was arrested in D.C. back in October with his bodyguard for allegedly punching a man. During his arrest Chris Brown was on probation for an attack on singer Rihanna in 2009, who was then his girlfriend.
A California judge had ordered Brown to attend anger management and other treatments after his arrest in Washington, the judge had jailed Brown earlier this month after he was dismissed from the treatment facility.
The trial is scheduled for mid-April.
