Supergirl is into its midseason stretch and it looks like Superman’s cousin is certainly keeping herself busy, especially with this week’s episode, Strange Visitor From Another Planet, presenting a whole new type of enemy in the form of a White Martian. Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian, a member of the alien race that wiped out his people, kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat’s estranged son, Adam (Blake Jenner), arrives in National City.
Supergirl is certainly drawing plenty of praise from critics and viewers alike and it’s no surprise, with leading star Melissa Benoist fitting the role like a glove and the likes of David Harewood, Calista Flockhart and Chyler Leigh all providing key support for the main woman.
With Martian Manhunter now fully thrown into the mix and a series of ongoing storylines no doubt keeping us on our toes, this is a show that you certainly should be watching and is slowly creeping up to the standard of similar shows such as The Flash and Arrow.
