The world is caught in Marvel’s Web once again as Spider-Man: Homecoming swings through theaters.
This weekend spawned another hit as The Sony-Marvel superhero film was the second-highest opening for a Spider-Man movie behind 2007’s Spider-Man 3 which had a record-breaking debut of over $150 million.
With his extensive training in both dance and gymnastics, 21- year-old Tom Holland is simply delightful as the precocious 15-year-old Peter Parker aka Spider-Man.
No task proved to be too difficult as the London-born Holland took his versatile ability to the next level.
Spider-Man: Homecoming takes place a few months after the events of Captain America: Civil War, where Peter Parker tries to balance life in Queens, New York as an ordinary high school sophomore. While fighting crime in the best way that he knows how all is well until a new threat arrives.
The sixth Spider-Man: Homecoming in over 14 years, Homecoming reached over $50 million on Friday alone from over 4,000 locations.
Other standout performances include Robert Downey Jr., in his reprised role as Tony Stark aka Iron Man and veteran actor Micheal Keaton as Vulture.
