Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Linc Hand has been appearing in commercials, television programs, and feature films since he was six years old. Now you can witness his versatility in the Fox comedy series Ghosted.
The show focuses on a cynical skeptic (Craig Robinson), and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Adam Scott), who are recruited by a secret government agency to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles, all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.
Linc plays Agent Kurt Checker, who is like the James Bond of the underground government agency that deals with paranormal cases.
What made you become an actor?
When I was a little kid, I watched the movie “The NeverEnding Story” and I lost my mind jumping up and down yelling. That’s when I fell in love with movies and wanted to be an actor.
How do you handle rejection, when you don’t land a role?
That’s a tough question. It’s hard because they all become so personal but I try now to just focus on what I can control and that is me being in the moment for the audition and trying to bring myself to it. Other than that, when I walk out of the room, I try and forget it but sometimes that is much easier said than done. Hahaha.
When on set, what is one thing you need in your trailer?
I will always have protein bars and protein shakes with me. But the most important thing I will have, is a neckless my dad gave me. It goes with me everywhere.
If you weren’t acting, what would your job be?
If I had the skills, I would be a professional athlete or a vet.
What made you audition for the role on Fox comedy series ‘Ghosted’?
I was very grateful to get the audition and then when I saw who was attached, I thought to myself this, this would be so cool if I could manage to get it.
Is it weird to watch yourself on camera/TV?
Yes it’s very hard for me to watch my performances. I just see all the things I do wrong. Hahaha.
What was your first big role and paycheck, and then what did you do to reward yourself?
To me my first big role was my first TV credit and it was a show on Adult Swim called “Eagle Heart “. And then I joined AFTRA and that took my whole check. Hahaha.
Why do you feel the audience should tune in to watch ‘Ghosted’?
I believe comedy is the one place we can all escape and just be kids again. I really believe that sometimes, we all just need to stop and laugh so we remember what we are fighting for. I believe this show can be a wonderful fun escape for people.
Now that you live in LA, what do you miss about Alabama?

What charities do you love to support?
I support St. Jude’s Children Hospital and also I support my mom’s, which is The Edie Hand Foundation. There are also so many more worthy causes I want to be able to help in the future.
