Drizzy Drake seems have another hit on his hands! Since being released on June 29, 2018, Scorpion has already broken Spotify’s one-day global record for album streams with 132.45 million streams. It has also broken Apple Music’s single-day record with 170 million streams, breaking the Toronto native’s own record with More Life. Supported by the number one singles “God’s Plan” and “Nice for What”, Scorpion could possibly be reaching platinum status pretty soon. With guest appearances from Jay-Z and Ty Dolla Sign; as well as, posthumous appearances from Static Major and the King of Pop Michael Jackson, the 25 track hip hop, R&B and Pop infused album also features additional vocals by Nicki Minaj and Future among others.

Executive produced by Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib, Scorpion also includes production from No I.D, DJ Premier, DJ Paul, Boi-1da, Murda Beatz, T-Minus, Noel Cadastre and Cardo. With the current single “I’m Upset also slowly moving up the charts, Scorpion may very well become Drizzy’s fifth smash. Will we be surprised? Of course not.
