Vocaliz drops his first album, 'Afrikan in New York.'

The Black Panther team may be building up Oakland, California but hip-hop, Afrobeat, and dancehall artist, Vocaliz, is showing up for New York.

His project, Afrikan in New York, takes viewers all around the Big Apple as he talks about living life to chill vibey sounds. His track “In Love With Life,” is a standout in his repertoire but is unfortunately not available on his album. But that doesn’t mean the project is without some hits. The track, “Out Of My Mind,” is reminisent of Drake’s “One Dance” and is bound to make listeners groove while “Oh Na Na” provides a slow bop which ironically gives the same mood as The Fugees “Oh La La,” which has a similar name.
