Doja Cat has taken the internet by storm with her viral hit, “Mooo!” Between the catchy hook where Doja repeats “bitch I’m a cow” to the effortless way she slides into “smoooothh,” it’s not hard to tell why this song is showing up all across the internet. Also, Chance the Rapper is down with the moo-vement.
Doja, who wrote the lyrics and crafted the beat, says the song and video took less than 24 hours to create.
“I got this costume for an upcoming tour that I’m about to go on in September. I cheat sometimes and I like to wear my costumes beforehand on Live when I make music. I had this top from the costume on and didn’t know what to sing about, but the shirt was so ridiculous that I was like, ‘Maybe that would be cool if I just made a song about cows.’ I thought ‘Nobody’s gonna care about it.’ It’s just funny. It sounded kind of cute. I came up with some mooing harmonies,” she told The Fader.
Needless to say, people cared. Over 700,000 people have watched the quirky music video thus far. There’s even a MOO challenge, created by the 22-year-old.

But while this song is a fun joke, Doja Cat also has a full-fledged project, Amala, out that’s pretty darn good. Stream it below.
