Matt Warren has been in the music game for decades but his upcoming project, Music Is My Life, is the first time in ten years that the producer and engineer will be releasing his own music.

The Nu House album provides sultry tunes and guaranteed party hits for any house lovers. The promotional track (below) is also reminiscent of Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP’s “We No Speak Americano” (in a good way.) It sounds like good morning vibes and swaying at late night parties.

On the project, Warren said: “I felt like I wanted to do a record that reflects my journey as both a musician and DJ. I really wanted to give that old school feel to the songs..I guess what I mean is to record ‘real music’ with live instruments and arrangements…which are kind of a homage of all the music I grew up listening to.”

The full project will arrive on Oct. 15. Keep up to date here.
