A couple from Indiana was recently arrested when they used a car to compel two brothers riding bikes with President Trump flags off a road in July.
According to a report, a series of Snapchat videos in connection with the July 22 incident had Kyren Gregory Perry-Jones, 23, and his girlfriend 18-year-old Cailyn Marie Smith arrested by Hobart Police.
The couple allegedly was driving in their car, running the 14-year-old twin brothers off the road while threatening them as stated in a probable cause affidavit. During the incident, one of the boys was asked if they were Trump supporters by Perry-Jones, to which they replied “Yes.”
Knowing this, the couple then tore off President Donald Trump flags off their bikes after they forced the teens off the road and followed them. The driver then ran over the flags with their vehicles.
A male’s voice is then heard telling the female passenger “pull that flag down” after the driver turns the wheel sharply as if he saw the boys and wanted to hit them with the vehicle while yelling `ya’ll better get home.
“Ya’ll scare just like your president. America is not great.” said a female voice that can be heard in the video. The couple has been charged with one count of theft and criminal mischief. They were also charged with two felony counts of intimidation and criminal recklessness.
