Beloved rapper, Fred The Godson has sadly passed away following his battle with the Coronavirus. The New York star initially revealed that he was in the hospital and that he had been placed on a ventilator back in the beginning of April. His wife also revealed that Fred was not doing well after coming down with the virus.
Despite reports that his condition was reportedly improving a few days ago, Fred had Asthma and was suffering from Kidney problems. He sadly passed away on Thursday. He was just 35.
News of his tragic death broke after multiple artists began sending their tributes, including Jaquae and French Montana, who took to social media to pay their respects. Sources close to Fred confirmed the news to us, and said that they are planning a memorial concert.

Fred leaves behind his wife, LeeAnn and two children.
