Shaquille O’Neal has paid for the funeral expenses of a Louisiana boy who died in a deadly car accident.

The kind gesture was revealed by retired chief deputy Phil Conrad of the Lafayette City Marshall’s Office. A few weeks ago, 12-year-old Trayvon Alexander and 11-year-old Keshon Batiste were in the backseat of a vehicle with an adult driver who ran a stop sign then crashed into a ditch and slammed into a tree. The boys’ were pronounced dead at the scene.

Conrad said Tayvon’s family had life insurance to cover for his funeral expenses but Keshon’s family created a GoFundMe page and still needed $4,000. Shaq heard the news about their financial situation and donated the leftover balance.

The money was instantly delivered to the Kinchen Funeral Jome and the boys were laid to rest.
