Lil Boosie, has confronted Boxing legend Mike Tyson over his sexuality specifically following his comments about Dwyane Wade’s 13-year-old transgender daughter Zaya Wade.
When a then-12-year-old Zaya revealed her transition earlier this year, Boosie did everything but hold his tongue. Strongly conflicting with Dwyane as a parent, the rapper took to his Instagram, from the inside of a Planet Fitness gym, and blasts the NBA baller for letting his child transition so early. He also begged Dwyane not to “cut his d*ck off.”
In addition to tons of backlash from celebrities and social media users, his video went viral and led to him being banned from the facility.
Even after the Planet Fitness fiasco, Boosie continued to let his lips flap, making numerous transphobic and homophobic remarks. Recently, Boosie joined Tyson on his show, ‘Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson,’ where the boxing legend asked, “Why do you say things about people who might be a homosexual? Why do you say that about them? Do you feel there’s a possibility that you’re a homosexual and by disrespecting them it furthers yourself from being a homosexual? I’m thinking you may like homosexuals.”
Boosie countered, saying he’s “as straight as an arrow.” Tyson retorted, “If you’re straight then why do you offend people?” Boosie responded, “I really commented on the Dwyane Wade situation because I got offended because it’s a child. That’s really why I got offended.”
