Coachella is set to take place next year. According to an announcement from the festival’s organiser, Goldenvoice, the juggernaut festival will take place on April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24, 2022.
The release stated, “Our desert homecoming is officially slated for April 2022.” “On Friday, June 4th, at 10 a.m. PT, we will launch our advance sale. With our flexible payment plan choices, you’ll have more time to plan and pay for your passes over time. Coachella.com has information on flexible payment plans and more.”
Stagecoach, Coachella’s country-themed sister event, has also confirmed that it will take place next year from April 29 to May 1. The notice read, “Stagecoach is back in the saddle!” “Be the first to learn about the stagecoachfestival.com advance sale, which is just around the corner.”
According to Variety, the artists performing at the events will not be unveiled until the new year. Travis Scott, Rage Against The Machine, Frank Ocean, Lana Del Rey, and Megan Thee Stallion were among the headliners for Coachella 2020. The 2020 program was rescheduled numerous times because to the COVID-19 pandemic before being cancelled entirely.
Variety noted that YouTube will partner with Goldenvoice to live stream the festival for the 10th year. “We’re back and thrilled to be partnering with Goldenvoice,” YouTube said in a statement. “As the world’s biggest virtual stage, we are more excited than ever to celebrate live music and to bring two weekends of extraordinary performances to music fans around the world.”
