According to a Netflix announcement, Will Smith is poised to host and star in a variety-packed comedy special.
This will be the entertainer’s first and only comedy special. Will Smith will not only emcee the comedy special, but he will also be involved in the executive production.
Surprise celebrity visitors, new humorous sketches, massive musical performances, and more will be featured in the one-hour program. Later this year, the Netflix comedy special will be available worldwide.
Through rap music, funny characters, action movies, and serious touching parts, Smith has made countless children and families laugh for decades. Smith has used social media to make amusing digital footage of his day-to-day dealings, in addition to his duties on screen and behind the camera.
Westbrook Studios, which is owned by the actor and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, will produce the film. Executive producers for the special will include Terence Carter, Miguel Melendez, and Sahara Bushue from the studio.
Smith’s Instagram antics continue to make his admirers giggle. The Philadelphia native recently went popular for flaunting his body after gaining weight during the COVID-19 confinement while filming his new fitness regimen.
“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry,” he wrote in his Instagram caption. In the video, Smith stands posed as the Pussycat Dolls’ 2005 hit “Don’t Ya” plays in the background.
