Pop Smoke’s first posthumous album, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon, was released about a year ago, and there’s more on the way. The late rapper’s management just announced that a second such album will be released on July 16, according to a new teaser that shows Pop Smoke giving listeners some inspiring remarks. In the video, he states, “Never let someone get in the way of your inventions.” “Are you just trying to be cool?” says the narrator. You have to go down in history.” Pop Smoke’s manager, Steven Victor, provided a new update with only a few days until its arrival.
Victor disclosed the title of the late rapper’s second posthumous album, Faith, on Twitter. This isn’t the title that some fans expected to see. Many people assumed the album would be called Pop Smoke because that was the name that showed in the album title location on Apple Music’s pre-save page for the project.
The announcement comes after Smoke’s crew released the album’s outro. It’s only 31 seconds long and includes some motivational comments from the late artist himself. While Faith won’t be here for another five days, fans in New York and Los Angeles can listen to tracks from the album via QR codes on promotional posters.
