24KGoldn, the San Francisco-born hitmaker who co-wrote the No. 1 single “Mood” with Iann Dior, stopped by Uproxx Studios recently to provide an energetic, melodic performance for UPROXX Sessions, detailing his climb to “The Top.” The easygoing 20-year-old, dressed in tie-dye and radiating young charm, delivers a playful version of the opener from his March debut album El Dorado.
After fan voting helped him land the coveted 10th slot, 24KGoldn was named as one of XXL’s Freshman Class in 2020. That same month, “Mood” debuted on the charts before climbing to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it stayed for eight weeks in a row. In 2021, 24KGoldn released his Columbia Records debut, El Dorado, which charted at No. 22 on the Billboard 200 and has received RIAA gold certification to date (500,000 equivalent sales). Beginning in November, he will embark on a tour in support of the album.
