The 2021 WNBA Finals series between the Chicago Sky and the Phoenix Mercury began this past Sunday, and it’s been a thrilling game thus far. Game One was won by the Mercury with a pleasant 14-point victory, while Game Two was won by the Sky in an overtime thriller by five points. Fans, including fellow Phoenix players Chris Paul, Jae Crowder, and Devin Booker, are looking forward to the next clash in the Finals series. This includes Chance The Rapper, who took to Twitter prior of Game 3 to make a big allegation.
Chance took to Twitter just over 24 hours before game three began to make a huge pledge for the game. “When the Sky clinches the victory in game 3 tmw,” the rapper wrote, “I will be getting tatted to remember the victory.” Even if the Sky win on Friday, Chance’s tattoo will be a premature celebration because the club still needs one more win to claim the WNBA Finals title.
Chance’s remarks follow the release of his Magnificent Coloring Book film concert, which he recently said had him “very thirsty” to play again. “I’m saying to myself, ‘I can’t wait to sing this specific song now,” he said in an interview with Billboard. I’m considering it both as a performer and as a filmmaker.”
