Mike Tyson‘s longtime bodyguard, chauffeur, and trusted buddy Rudy Gonzales said in an interview with The Sun on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, that the heavyweight champion had sex with groupies before matches to avoid murdering his opponents.
“I’d have to locate a groupie, regardless of who it was. “If I don’t get laid, I’m going to kill this guy right now,” Gonzales said to The Sun.
Gonzales went on to say that this was Tyson’s way of letting off steam and releasing pent-up adrenaline.
“Mike needed to be laid in order to release some of his power. As a result, I had girls stowed away in restrooms and locker rooms. He’d go in with them for a minute, thrash them, snap their neck, and declare, ‘OK, this person is going to survive tonight.'”
“It’s no exaggeration to say Mike was like a train crashing into these men,” he continued. Sex was his method of letting go of that control and relaxing up a little.”
Gonzales also stated that Tyson’s greatest concern was killing someone in the ring by accident.
This news follows Tyson’s previous admission on his podcast, “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” that he used to cry before fights because he was worried about his opponent’s safety.
“I’m terrified, and I’m afraid I’m going to do something horrible to this person that his family won’t enjoy.” And I’m going to feel incredibly horrible and guilty towards the end,” Tyson stated of his mental state before about.
