Saweetie has been linked to a number of their contemporaries in the hip-hop world since she broke up with Atlanta trap rapper Quavo. Recently, a photo-op with Compton rapper Roddy Ricch sparked dating rumors, which Saweetie quickly debunked, and now, she’s been linked to another Atlanta native by gossip blogs, with Hollywood Unlocked reporting that Lil Baby took her on a date in New York and spent about $100,000 on her. However, Lil Baby took to social media to reject the allegation, putting an end to any speculation that they’ve started dating.
“Baby not dating NO ONE!!” he tweeted. “I’m Single!”
Saweetie was in New York City at the time of the report, where she made her Saturday Night Live debut, performing a medley of her hits as well as her new single “Icy Chain.” But, as Baby pointed out, it’s probably best to put the rumors to rest until the stars themselves reveal their connections personally. Saweetie demonstrated this by denying a claim that she and Quavo had rejoined earlier this year.
In fact, Lil Baby and Saweetie aren’t the only ones who have been paired up on Twitter. Gunna, Baby’s friend and Drip Harder partner, was recently linked to Chloe Bailey, a gorgeous, up-and-coming talent, after the two were pictured sharing a table in the Hawks’ lounge area. Gunna also addressed the accusations, claiming that the two were simply hanging out at the game while working on songs.
