In 1998 they came to the semi-finals of the world cup, which is their previous best performance in the cup. We have great expectations for the team this fall and winter and think they are going to perform well in the matches. They are already on a good path, as they are the winners of the UEFA Group F.
Brazil
Whenever we are talking about teams to cheer on during the world cup, we have to mention Brazil. They have certainly made their mark on the football world, and have won the world cup in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, and 2002. Neymar jr., Ederson, and Allison are some of the players we are excited to see on the field when Brazil is playing. The team won The South American section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification, CONMEBOL. They have been qualified a total of 22 times in the World Cup through the years.
To say that we are excited about the World Cup will be an understatement. This year will be different in many ways. The tournament is usually held in the summer months, but this year it will run from Monday, November 21, until Sunday, December 18, ending right before Christmas. There have also been some switches in the qualification due to the situation in Russia. However, we are hoping for a thrilling and exciting world cup!
