Danny Green is the Greatest Three Point Shooter in NBA History……of the Finals

Last night as the San Antonio Spurs took a 3-2 lead of the series, Danny Green made NBA History. Not known as one of the best shooters, Green has beaten a record held by the NBA’s All-Time three point field goals leader, Ray Allen.

I wonder how this guy is still wide open. Every playoff contender needs role players to step up, but the Spurs starting shooting guard is making a case for NBA Finals MVP.

Danny Green, once a player cut from the Spurs, once a player forced to play overseas, once a player who held court in  the NBA Development League, is finally breaking out. Danny Green is establishing himself as one of the NBA’s premier three-point shooters on the absolute biggest stage. The record for most three pointers made in an NBA Finals series seemed safe and sound with Ray Allen as he connected on 22 back during his days in Boston. I would feel safe too with that kind of thing if I were Ray Allen as he does have the most three pointers ever made in NBA history. Now one of his records has been shattered as Danny Green has now connected on 25 three pointers in the NBA Finals.

Now with the Spurs only one game away from defeating the defending champs, it’s looking like Green could win NBA Finals MVP for his work.

There’s not much to say about his hot shooting just watch:
