Michael Jackson’s “You Are Not Alone” provided countless fans with comfort and care in their darkest times. Now, Toronto singer Sereda is attempting to do the same with her single “I Got You.”
Although the promotional cover for the track is a bit ominous as Sereda stares into a mirror with the words “I Got You” smeared in red lipstick on it, according to a press statement the song “expresses the importance of being there for one another in troubled times.” It’s also set to be listed on her next album that’s set to be released in December. (The album name has yet to be revealed.)
While Sereda remains an up-and-comer in the U.S., this is far from her first time in the spotlight. Her previous single, “Heartbeat,” reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard chart in France.
