Rapper Rick Ross has been put on life support after being rushed to the hospital Thursday. The 42-year-old Florida rapper has a history of seizures; he was rushed to the hospital on Friday afternoon after being found unconscious in his home.
Ross has been placed on machines that will complete the functions of his hearts and lungs and doctors are treating him with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (EMCO), a form of life support in which blood is oxygenated outside of the body before it’s pumped back into it.
Ross, born William Leonard Roberts II has long battled health problems, losing 75 lbs off his once 350lb frame in 2016.
After TMZ reported that Ross was on this advanced form of life support, fellow rapper, Fat Trell posted on Instagram that he had just spoken to Ross and he is not on life support.
