The 18th Annual BET Awards, hosted by Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx, will take place on Sunday, June 24, 2018, in Los Angeles, CA. Over the years BET has made the weekend an all-star event, attracting A-list celebs and popular social media personalities. More importantly, you and your family can attend the awards ceremony, or attend free celebrity-filled events at the BET Experience. The BET Experience runs June 21-24, 2018, taking over the Staples Center, and the L.A. Convention Center. The annual four-day event will showcase the best in music, entertainment and interactive sites at the fan fest, and seminars. Acoustically Speaking, Friday, June 22.
Acoustically Speaking features special musical guests who share their insight on the scope of the music industry from their unique perspectives. This year, Jussie Smollett, Lecrae, and Gallant will perform, with Big Tigger as the host.
Genius Talks, Saturday, June 23.
The always inspirational Genius Talks this year includes Yara Shahidi, (Black-ish); Tip “T.I” Harris, (T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle); and Yvonne Orji, (Insecure); with moderator, Jemele Hill, who will share their knowledge and keys to success with fans.

This year the BET Awards will have 19 categories, DJ Khaled tops with six nominations, while Kendrick Lamar takes five, followed by Migos and Sza with four nominations.
