Good Golly: ‘Tales From The Hood’ Might Become A TV Series

‘Tales From The Hood’ will never get Rusty as long as Mr. Cundieff, Darin Scott, and Spike Lee spark possibility of a TFTH TV series.

The original ‘Tales From The Hood’ first aired in 1995 and it took creators Rusty Cundieff and Darin Scott 20 years to produce the sequel, ‘Tales From The Hood 2’. For me, it was well worth the wait, as a fan of the writer/producer I came across this tweet and so hope it doesn’t take another 20 years for this to happen!

Tales From The Hood 2 stars Keith David as Mr. Simms to tell bloodcurdling stories about lust, greed, pride, and politics through tales with demonic dolls, possessed psychics, vengeful vixens and historical ghosts. Mr. Simms’s haunting stories will make you laugh, while you scream.

My favorite story is ‘Good Golly’ because I love anything that has to do with dolls and the social commentary about labeling being done with words, pen, paper, paint, and ink.
